Chemical Composition/Ingredients
The GHS is an acronym for The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. The GHS is a system for standardizing and harmonizing the classification and labelling of chemicals. Chemicals are associated with codes that define their health, physical and environmental hazards. This universal hazard communication system was developed to ensure that employers, employees and consumers are provided with adequate, practical, reliable and comprehensible information on the hazards of chemicals, so that they can take effective preventive and protective measure for their own health and safety.
Advanced
The GHS classifications for chemicals associated with products in this database may be viewed by selecting the "Advanced" button on the Chemical Ingredients tables. Since this is a work in progress, GHS classifications may not be shown for all chemical ingredients.-
Primary Chemical Name is the standard name assigned to a chemical substance.
ChemicalChemical Abstracts Service Registry Number is a unique identifier for a chemical and its synonyms. CAS numbers identify the chemical, but not its concentration or specific mixture. CAS Registry Numbers are assigned by the Chemical Abstracts Service, a division of the American Chemical Society. For more information: www.cas.org

Since this is a work in progress, GHS classifications may not be shown for all chemical ingredients.Hazard Codes and their associated descriptions are an essential part of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). There are 4 categories of Hazard Codes:
- Physical Hazard Codes (H200 series)
- Health Hazard Codes (H300 series)
- Environmental Hazard Codes (H400 series)
- Supplementary Hazard Codes (EUH series)
Hazard Codes may be found in the "Advanced" version of Chemical Composition / Ingredients tables.

Precautionary Codes may be found in the "Advanced" version of Chemical Composition / Ingredients tables.PictogramSVHC is a substance (identified by the European Chemicals Agency) that may have serious and often irreversible effects on human health and the environment. SVHC are defined in Article 57 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (“the REACH Regulation”) and include substances which are:
SVHC?
1. Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or toxic to Reproduction (CMR), meeting the criteria for classification in category 1 or 2 in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC or in category 1a or 1b in accordance with EC No 1272/2008This directive was recently replaced by the new EU regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
2. Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic (PBT) or very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative (vPvB) according to the criteria in Annex XIII of the REACH Regulation, or
3. Identified, on a case-by-case basis, from scientific evidence as causing probable serious effects to human health or the environment of an equivalent level of concern as those above (e.g. endocrine disrupters).Trade secret or proprietary formula 000000-02-1 -- 20-34.99 -------- ------- ---- No Polyalkenyl phenol 000000-71-8 -- 10-19.99 -------- ------- ---- No Solvent naphtha, petroleum, light aromatic 064742-95-6 265-199-0 20-34.99 H304, H340, H350 ------- No Polyolefin mixture 000000-35-3 -- 3-9.99 -------- ------- ---- No Polyolefin phenolic amine 000000-71-7 -- 3-9.99 -------- ------- ---- No 1,2,4-Trimethylbenzene 000095-63-6 202-436-9 3-9.99 H226, H332, H319, H335, H315, H411 P210, P243, P280, P261, P302+P352, P305+P351+P338, P273, P391 No Click on each chemical for information on chemical structure, properties and health effects.

Warnings
Combustible Liquid-DO NOT use or store near heat, sparks, or open flame. Contains petroleum distillates. Harmful/ fatal if swallowed. Do not induce vomiting – call a Physician at once. If eye contact, flush at once with water. Keep from Children -
Acute health effects
From MSDS
Potential Health Effects:
Primary Route of Exposure: Eye, skin, and inhalation.
Effects of Overexposure: Acute:
Eyes: may cause irritation, experienced as mild discomfort and seen as slight excess redness of the eye.
Skin: Brief contact may cause slight irritation. Prolonged contact, as with clothing wetted with material, may cause more severe irritation and discomfort, seen as local redness and swelling. Other than the potential skin irritation effects noted above, acute (short term) adverse effects are not expected from brief skin contact.
Inhalation: Vapors or mist, in excess of permissible concentrations, or in unusually high concentrations generated from spraying, heating the material or as from exposure in poorly ventilated areas or confined spaces, may cause irritation of the nose and throat, headache, nausea, and drowsiness. Ingestion: If more than several mouthfuls are swallowed, abdominal discomfort, nausea, and diarrhea may occur. Aspiration may occur during swallowing or vomiting resulting in lung damage.
Sensitization Properties: Unknown.
Medical Conditions Aggravated by Exposure: Because of its irritating properties, repeated skin contact may aggravate an existing dermatitis (skin condition).
This product, or a component in this product, has been shown to damage red blood cells or blood forming organs, and has caused anemia in laboratory animals. This product, or a component of this product, has caused liver damage in laboratory animals. -
Chronic health effects
From MSDS
No adverse effects have been documented in humans as a result of chronic exposure. -
Carcinogenicity
The following detectable components of this product are substances, or belong to classes of substances, or belong to classes of substances, known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or reproductive toxicity. -
Handling information
Keep away from potential sources of ignition. Open container in a well ventilated area. Avoid breathing vapors. Keep containers closed when not in use. Wash thoroughly after handling. Empty containers retain material residue. Do not cut, weld, braze, solder, drill, grind or expose containers to heat, flame, spark or other sources of ignition. Do not store near potential sources of ignition. Store in a well ventilated area. -
Disposal information
This product (as presently constituted) has the RCRA classification of benzene toxicity and ignitability. If discarded in its present form, it would have the hazardous waste numbers D018 and D001 respectively. Under RCRA, it is the responsibility of the user of the product to determine, at the time of disposal, whether the product meets RCRA criteria for hazardous waste. This is because product uses, transformations, mixtures, processes, etc., may change the classification to non-hazardous, or hazardous for reasons other than, or in addition to benzene toxicity and ignitability. -
California Prop. 65 Warning
The following detectable components of this product are substances, or belong to classes of substances, or belong to classes of substances, known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or reproductive toxicity. -
First Aid
Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Hold eyelids apart while flushing to rinse entire surface of eye and lids with water. Get medical attention.
Skin: Wash skin with plenty of soap and water until all traces of material are removed. Remove and clean contaminated clothing. Destroy nonresistant footwear. Get medical attention if skin irritation persists or contact has been prolonged.
Ingestion: If person is conscious and can swallow, give two glasses of water (16 oz.), but do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, give fluids again. Have medical personnel determine if evacuation of stomach or induction of vomiting is necessary. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing person.
Inhalation: If irritation, headache, nausea, or drowsiness occurs, remove to fresh air. Get medical attention if breathing becomes difficult or respiratory irritation persists.
Other Instructions: Aspiration of this product during induced emesis may result in severe lung injury. If evacuation of stomach is necessary, use method least likely to cause aspiration, such as gastric lavage after endotracheal intubation. Contact a Poison Center for additional treatment information.
